Retrofit KT3 je montážní přípravek pro snadné nahrazení dříve používaných jističů ITV, ITM z produkce SEZ Krompachy n.p.

Retrofit KT3je složen ze základny pro mechanické upevnění retrofitu na původní místo po demontovaném jističi ITV, ITM a plastovou krytkou, nasunutou z čela na jistič, zaslepující původní otvor v krytu rozváděče, čímž je zajištěno předepsané krytí před nebezpečným dotykem živé části IP 40.

Výměna vadného jističe ITV, ITM za retrofit KT3 je zcela jednoduchá, neboť retrofit se namontuje na původní místo po demontovaném jističi ITV, ITM. Retrofit KT3 může namontovat jen osoba kvalifikovaná, tj. s platným osvědčením dle § 6 vyhlášky 50/1978 Sb, neboť se jedná o zásah do elektrického zařízení, kde hrozí nebezpečí úrazu elektrickým proudem, kdy neodborně namontovaný nebo parametry nevhodný retrofit KT3 může způsobit úraz elektrickým proudem, škodu na elektrickém zařízení nebo požár.

Retrofit KT3 snáší teplotu okolí - 25 °C až + 55 °C.
